Vanish Airbrush Primer - Base

Pricy but goooood!

I have big pores, I have mixed skin, I live in latam so weather does not help. But this sure helps to keep my make up all day and notably reduce pores. It feels so lightweight, its not sticky, and it gets along with my foundation and skin care with brands like: Lancome, clinique, giorgo armany, and dior.

I lay it on top of the Laura Mercier and then when I apply my foundation, it is seamless. Perfect look for my skin I originally got this as a sample and loved it so much. Never Going Back To Anything Else!

I absolutely adore this product. I have textured skin from having cystic acne for years. Primers have always been an issue for me, until I tried out this product. It's so velvety and settles into my textured skin perfectly. It's definitely worth the price.

Noticeable Improvement

I initially bought the Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Primer to help blur the texture on my skin, and I really enjoyed it. At first, I was using it regularly, but when I started to notice the product emptying and the price tag to repurchase, I cut back and even tried doing my makeup without it. That’s when I really saw the difference – my texture was more noticeable, and my makeup just didn’t sit as nicely. I couldn’t resist picking it up again, and I’m so glad I did! It definitely does its job in blurring imperfections and creating a smooth canvas. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but for me, it’s worth it because the difference it makes in the overall look and feel of my makeup is undeniable. If you’re looking for a primer that helps with texture and creates that soft-focus, airbrushed effect, this one is definitely worth a try!

Not for me

This was recommended to me by a worker when I asked for a primer to use on oily skin. I wanted to love this so much as I lover hourglass products but this one wasn't doing it for me. It made my makeup pill and I know it was this primer as I didn't change anything else to my routine.

Price went up, won’t purchase again.

I really liked this primer but used it sparingly because it’s expensive. Since the price went up again, I won’t be repurchasing. It’s great under powder foundation though and that’s why I bought it in the first place.

application bottle poor design

product works well but the worst applicator ever. hasn't worked since beginning and not the first one I've got that did this. ended up transferring to different bottle

Was better before

I got this primer the first time back in 2014 and it was something else. It wasnt this whitish looking but more of a silicone kinda and blurry yet stuck to your makeup. Used to LOVE it. I dont knsow why they changed the formulation to this but it basically does nothing

Das ist der beste Primer den ich je hatte! Ich habe leider große Poren und eine unebenmäßige Haut aber dieser Primer ist wie ein Filter!!!

While I like the product the packaging didn’t outlast it. Tubing broke when I opened cap and the whole top came off and broke. Disappointing for a pricey product!
