Turmeric Brightening Exfoliating Mask, 2-IN-1

DO NOT USE!!! - stars if possible. I want to start off by saying that I never write reviews unless something is really good or really bad, and this product is really BAD! I got a sample size, and after trying it I feel I need to warn others. I do not have sensitive skin (normal to dry) and this left my skin RED! I wish I would have read the reviews first, even though it seems a little mixed, the number of people who had their face get a rash or turned red would have been good enough for me to not try it. My skin was fine before using and now I’m just hoping the redness goes away soon. You have been warned. Run away.

Worst Product I want refund Soon 😡

Hi I had worst experience after using this mask. As soon as I used this mask my skin got burn whole face...it feels like someone through acid on my face. I want refund, I have photo and video. How can a company sell this kind of product????

I must have in my routine!

I love this mask! I have very sensitive skin & I use tretinoid, but this removes my dead skin so good! My skin is super sensitive, but you can’t scrub this mask too hard or use a washcloth to remove it. If you’re too rough with this, it is going to make your sensitive to your skin.

Spicy but effective

I was a bit freaked out at first, it said to leave on between 5 and 15 minutes. I see a timer for 15 minutes but at minute 8, it was burning really badly! I rinsed it off and my skin was very red (as if I just worked out) and it was HOT. I put some soothing face oil on and waited about 20 minutes. The burning subsided and my skin looks really great now! But it’s definitely a scary strong mask! Don’t leave it on too long.

Definitely not for everyone but effective enough

My favorite scrub by OH was discontinued this year and I’m still looking for a replacement. This works well enough and is powerful as a scrub but doesn’t reduce my pores like I want. As a mask, I’ve experienced the redness/more severe reaction others report, but just once. When I first tried this my skin was super dry and basically dead on top, so it was more recently that I had the harsh experience, probably because it was softer and more alive since getting a real facial. If you have younger healthy skin this might be too intense for you as a mask. One thing I really do not like that will probably prevent me from repurchasing is that it makes a mess when I rinse it off- brown splashes and the hard bits end up everywhere, even on the walls of my shower

i used a towel and had my first experience with turmeric stains, but i love the glow. it doesn't smell as bad, like those skinny gum strips of peppermint. i think about what janis ian said about regina george and her face smelling like a foot. i use it mostly for my neck, that's my troubled area and it has definitely helped to balance my skin tone. i like this.

Irritating

My skin is only sometimes sensitive and this really irritated it. My face was burning after a few minutes, turned bright red after I rinsed it, and was itchy the rest of the night. I used it twice just to be sure it was the mask and not something else, and it was definitely the mask.

The best mask!

If you struggle with dryness, uneven skin tone, or breakouts, I can’t recommend this enough. It’s truly a skin-saver!

Favorite scrub ever

A staple in my Scrub and Mask routine! This makes my skin look and feel so incredibly soft. Must try!

Careful with this one...

This is a scary mask lol. Don't leave it on for more than 5 minutes or your face will get very red and burn! Also make sure to really rinse it off and apply some calming facial oil afterwards. I've used it twice and my face got red and burned, but after about 35 minutes it calmed down and left me with the brightest, clearest skin I've had in a while! So it must be effective, but precautions must be taken.

Amazing exfoliation!!

Got the sample size as a gift, it’s amazing! My skin feels so soft after. I have combination skin that is acne prone but not at all sensitive. If you have sensitive skin, I’d suggest avoiding this, but if you love a great exfoliate go for it!

No, it is not “watered down”

In the full size product is not “watered down” and the sample isn’t some other magical formula that actually works wonders. In fact, when samples and full size products run together like this, they come from the same batch. So sorry, no. You had a reaction to an ingredient. You weren’t duped by the company
