Superfruit Brightening + Exfoliate - Papaya + Vitamin C

Very effective, but does burn

My skin has acclimatized to products what used to irritate it (retinol, Vit C, etc), but despite this resiliency, I did find this product irritating a little. Interestingly not during use, but after I washed it off. First time I used it, I washed my skin twice thinking I didn’t wash the product off completely the first time. Nope. Kept stinging. I used a cooling agent for sensitive skin which minimizes the burning and left my skin looking absolutely amazing! Next day I woke up with glowing skin. So, if u have sensitive skin, have a calming/cooking agent on hand in case this happens to you, or skip all together. I will continue to use this product despite its unpleasant tingle bc it works! Extremely well.

Great Exfoliant

Love this wash! I’ve used the superfood face wash for a long time and decided it was time to try this one out. A little goes a long way and it’s very effective— can be drying if you are applying too much or if you leave on your skin for too long. Overall highly recommend.

Definitely repurchasing!

Honestly best cleanser I’ve ever used. I have combination skin, large pores, slightly acne prone. It makes my skin feel so clean, it helps with blemishes and I’ve seen a difference in my pores! Definitely will repurchase.

Not for my sensitive skin

I wish I loved this. The superfood cleanser has been my daily cleanser for years, and I hoped to add this as a 1-2x week exfoliating cleanser. Unfortunately it is too much for my sensitive skin and it burns immediately. It also has a VERY heavy and overpowering fragrance. I’ll keep it and maybe use it in the shower on my body, but it is not the YTTP product for me.

New Favorite!

I personally love this cleanser. My skin can be sensitive at times but I think because I’ve been using retinol nightly for over 3 years, it’s built up a resiliency to products that may otherwise irritate it. This makes my skin so soft and smooth feeling! It does tingle as you lather up, which I really like because it makes me feel like it’s doing something, lol. My skin doesn’t feel dry or scaly at all after and I just repurchased my second bottle.

Not for me

I have extremely sensitive, rosacea and acne prone skin. Based on that: Pros: Smells great, lathers wonderfully and face feels super clean Cons: Extremely drying and made my face super itchy (almost like an allergic reaction)! Stopped using and gifted it to my mom who has less sensitive skin

Love love

Smells amazing, makes my skin brighter and foams well— loved it. My previous acne wash has been discontinued and I wanted something with glycolic and lactic acid to exfoliate. Con- pricey :( Price

Swing and a miss for me

I really like several YTP products but this was a swing and a miss for me. I don’t consider myself to have sensitive skin, but I noticed it burned going on. I really, really hated the smell too. I gave it a try for a week because some products are fun or user friendly but end up working really well. Unfortunately, I didn’t find this to be true in this case.

Love it! Don’t use too much though and start off slow to make sure it’s a good fit for your skin.

Best cleanser

Great product, I’ve been using it over a week now and can see results in my face. The dark spots are starting fade away and my face is becoming brighter. Definitely recommend!

No and No, not for sensitive skin

I received this as a gift. I throw it away after I used first time. Burn face and dry tight skin after that. I feel like aged 10-25 years in a day.

A deep hydrated clean

I absolutely love this cleanser. The smell, the texture and laughter all together is lovely. My skin feels deeply cleaned while also feeling fully hydrated. It might be a little pricey but I will be repurchasing.
