Good, but not a hi-hold.

Giving three stars because it isn’t a hi-hold. The product smells great and has good texture though! Would recommend for thinner hair.

Great for Air Drying

I absolutely love this stuff. I used to blowdry and straighten by platinum blonde hair everyday, but the damage was becoming too much. I decided to expiriment with air drying but no matter what I did I would have so much frizz. This fixed it for me! This is an essential for me now because it allows me to set my hair so it dries straight with no frizz. Highly recommended!

Feels like a sticky thick pomade in the container and on your hands, but as soon as you touch your hair it feels like water. I have thick hair with blonde highlights. I use this to slick my hair into a ponytail for work. It does a great job slicking it back, and doesn’t leave it sticky, crunchy, or dry. It’s also great for my flyaways. Its flexible enough to restyle my hair if needed. By the end of the day it’s a little loose but if needed I just apply more of the gel and it’s not a problem. When I brush my hair out there are no white flakes. CON- In order to slick my hair back, I need to use quite a bit of the gel, therefore I’m afraid that I’m going to run out of it quickly, and it’s not cheap :/ I took away a star because of how quickly I’m going through the jar.

Works ok- not as strong a hold as I was looking for (for styling the men in the house). They both have very thick hair and this did not keep their style after a couple hours.

perfect for pixie

When I went short, I was using sumotech for years. I was experiencing some breakouts on my scalp, so I switched to sumoclay... not what I was looking for. But sumogel! That's the stuff! I apply to dry hair and make sure to wash it out at the end of the day. The length of wear is where the flaking can come in, but overall as long as I'm sure to distribute evenly, it works. This is still a flexible hold, perfect for my pixie cut. The shine is what I never knew I was looking for!

This is my husbands favourite gel. It has a great hold without being hard or crunchy. It also doesn’t make the hair greasy feeling. I have also used this in my curly hair and it worked very nicely at defining my curls and cutting down the frizz. The scent is nice as well!

Hold is great but it flakes

This gel gets rid of all the frizz and fly aways, and nothing else has worked like this for me, so wow. But. Ahhh. This would be perfect except for the flaking. I'm so confused as to why no one else has had this problem. I'm applying it as it says to apply, so I'm so confused! I'm going to keep trying because the hold is just amazing, but if it continues I don't know if I want to keep using it. If anyone has any advice as to how I should wear it please let me know because it works so well otherwise.

It has a strong but not still hold, with lots of shine great smell. Purchased this item twice already and will repurchase.

This stuff makes my hair look amazing and stay put for hours until I take a shower. <3

Great hold!

I take a hat on and off a lot through out the day while working and this stuff definitely keeps my hair looking great the whole time. (My hair is pulled back into a bun) A little goes a long way, I've had a jar for literally 5 months now. Just make sure your hair is damp while applying, the water makes it more malleable. Applying this on dry hair isn't going to work out to well...

worst purchase ever

This stuff is useless and I don’t understand the high reviews. It provides no hold whatsoever. It has a greasy texture but still won’t hold fly aways in place. It’s not a gel, not a pomade, it’s definitely different as far as textures go. However it’s expensive and completely ineffective. Will be returning and I love Bumble and bumble but they miss the mark here

Wow!! Loved it from first use; will use again and

Literally loved this product from the first use ...it defined my curls in the most perfect way. I have a head of curls but my hair is fine. This product made them shine, gave them individuality, and they maintained throughout my whole say. I'm an ER nurse and I work 12 hour shifts. They lasted well passed the end of my shift. This is a must have for beautiful, shiny, resilient curls.
