It's somewhat sticky at first, then dries down to a coating. I doubt it would be good under makeup. I use it at home when my skin's super dry, as a sort of treatment.

This serum is very sticky, so you NEED to go in with a good moisturizer after to smooth over your skin. I think it works okay for the price, but there are definitely better products out there that are more hydrating and don't leave your face feeling weird.
