This is the perfect Retinol for my sensitive skin. I use it almost every night unless I'm going to use an AHA serum, then I skip it. Does not give overnight results, you have to use it regularly. After 2+ years of use, my skin feels smooth and hydrated. I'm almost 40 and no wrinkles yet. Some of that probably has to do with good sleep, good diet, and religiously wearing sunscreen, but I truly believe some of it is this stuff too.

rosacea and sensitive skin approved

I received a mini size for this and immediately bought the full size when I ran out. I have sensitive, dehydrated, acne-prone, rosacea skin and this didn't aggravate it at all. I had first bought the Paula's Choice 1% but gave it to a friend after experiencing sensitivity and peeling, even though I layered a moisturizer on top before applying. This really is very gentle, I recommend it

Life changing

I'm new to retinol and the other retinol I tried felt painful to my facial skin even if I used them only twice a week. Then I found this one. I started by applying it twice a week for 2 weeks, then 3 times a week for 2 weeks, then I use it every night. I see a big improvement in my skin. My skin looks softer and more glow which make my makeup looks even better because I like light coverage foundation. My tips: use the sandwich method. Good retinol serum for beginners

I tried many retinol serum products these years, concentration varies, I’d say this one is good for new players to build tolerance and will not have much negative reactions. I have dry skin and also dur to retinol properties, it could dry the skin out. But this serum feels like a lotion,

I’m disappointed because I love this brand but honestly this did nothing for me at all. And it feels greasy.

I never really write reviews, but I decided to write one for this serum because it truly deserves it. I'm in my mid-30s and have been experiencing breakouts, especially around my chin area. I've been using this serum for about 5 months now, and since day one, I noticed a difference. Being a retinol serum, I expected some reaction or irritation, but to my surprise, my skin didn’t react negatively or was dry at all. I was genuinely amazed the next morning when I saw that my pimples had dried up while the rest of my face was glowing. I was initially skeptical about using retinol because of past reactions with other serums, but this one is gentle enough for daily use. I apply it only at night to avoid sun exposure. I had tried several other serums for months, but they were either ineffective or irritating. I can confidently say this is the only serum where I noticed a visible difference. I saw immediate improvements in my skin within just a few days. I’ve been using this serum for about 5 months now, and my skin feels firmer and it has significantly helped with my pimples. Like this retinol, noticed my skin became more clear with a nice glow. Tip: you need just a pea size for your face ( Consistency is the key )

Not worth the price point

Wanted to love this product, but honestly I haven’t seen any improvement after months of using. I’ve used Cheaper retinol that showed better results.

Gentle and effective!

I think what makes this great is that the retinol is encapsulated in peptides, so it makes for a gentle, but very effective treatment. It has greatly diminished my acne scars on the side of my face without the harsh effects of retinol. You will experience some sloughing of the skin, but that is part of the process to reveal even tone underneath. I so happy with my results so far.

A total must have!

I got a trial size as a gift with purchase and LOVED it so much I got the full size. I have dry-combination skin and have found that this product has helped SO much with texture and reviving the look of my skin. With my skin texture it can look very dull and this product has helped so much with that. I think honestly for the price it’s worth it but I am knocking it down a star for the price. It is a more luxury skincare product and I will repurchase it in the future. I got a bottle during Christmas and it has lasted me up until now! I wish I could see how much product is left but having it be in a clear bottle could probably mess up the retinol. I use this every night or so before bed and wake up with baby smooth skin. No irritation which I appreciate because I know some retinols can cause irritation. So far I’ve been lucky! If you’re lucky as well I would say it’s worth it!

there's better out there at this price point

I was in the market for an 'active' to use (i generally rotate thru retinols and acids) and chose this one over others because at the time there was a great sale. I used it for months without any benefit. I wouldn't say it made my skin worse, but I didn't make it all the way through the bottle before I was just kind of over it and switched back to my tried and true products and it wasn't long before my skin was looking better overall. In terms of Retinol - I've gotten better results from Sunday Riley's A+ and Mara face oil.
