Wears well throughout the day - like a dream

I use 03 and 01 mixed together after applying Tatcha Essance and Dewy Cream. The wear and glow of this foundation on my skin (48 yrs old, dry skin), is phenomenal. After 12 to 14 hour days on the office or more punishingly, in the dessert, this make stays in place and flawless. I rarely touch up even after sweating heavily some days outside. I have used many foundations, this is the first that requires no touch up and in some ways looks better throughout the day. Hard to believe? Try it. I generally mix in a dot of the good radiance primer but this is not required, just nice to do. If you are looking for a high performing foundation that glows but doesn't look weird, this is it. It is so solid as a product and applyes and wears so well, it is forgiving upon application errors if you are rushed and slather it on. Finally, i use an Artis brush to rub in the dotted on foundation and the effect is wonderful. Any good brush would do as would the beauty blender. If you are looking for great foundation for work, outdoor activity, or dress up evenings, this is the product. You will feel special in this beautiful formula. Note: I have been using this for more than a year and use a good exfoliation process (Exfolikate products) to get my acne damaged skin as smooth as possible dor thus foundation. You should try it if you are even just thinking about this pricey Guerlain product. You will be happy you did.

The lightest color is WAY too dark, tested on my face before I returned (thought maybe I could use it when I had a tan) but it accentuated any peach fuzz and any dry-ish spots (I’m very oily so don’t have a lot of dry patches but what was there was extremely noticeable). The slight sheen is nice looks like a natural glow. The scent is very strong, smells like a grandmas perfume. Overall this was a no for me, might work for others but for the price very disappointed.

Pure Perfection

I don't know where this foundation has been all my life. I'm 41 years old with combo skin, minor skin redness here and there but large pores on my nose. Once I apply this foundation, my face is instantly perfected but it still maintains a very skin like natural appearance, no cakiness (I don't apply any primer). The price tag is a very hard pill to swallow, but considering I only use it on the main centre of my face, I see this lasting me a long time. I don't think I will ever switch formulas again.

Too orange

Lovely feel but the colour not as the previous Teint used, much too orange on the skin. I’d need to sample a different shade before buying agsin
