Okay im obsessed!! I have really straight lashes and it’s super hard for me always have them curled and always have be using water proof. But this mascara actually made my lashes stay up, the wand is perfect because it gets every little lash especially in the corners. The perfect amount comes too so it won’t smudge or flake either. I love that it gives your lashes the perfect length, so if you have short lashes I’d give it a try as well. I have long lashes but I’m sure this one will definitely give you that lift curl! I used one two coats and loved it, my favorite part overall is the fact that it does give that volume and lift that you need for your lashes to be popping 24/7! It’s going to be in my purse from now on. I always carry one just in case!

Didn’t hold curl but that’s normal for me

The SEPHORA COLLECTION Love The Lift Curling + Volumizing Mascara in Ultra Black. This claims to have be an ultra-black and buildable, weightless mascara enriched with gravity-defying wax for an instant curl and 12-hour lifted-volume effect. I have very straight eyelashes and always curl them, but still find they fall back to straight during the day. Waterproof mascara does not even hold curl in my lashes, so I don't really fault any formula for failing to remained curled. This is a lightweight formula and is very comfortable and easy to apply but I did not find it held curl for long at all, but I don't blame the mascara, of course. I typically wear 1-2 coats of mascara and applied this mascara the same way. It did build nicely and didn't look clumpy. I had no issues removing it.

Instant lift without a curler!

I had so much fun trying this mascara! The texture is creamy but lightweight, and it doesn’t have any strong smell, which I love. I applied it without using a curler just to see how powerful it was—and wow, it lifted and volumized my lashes beautifully! Application is super smooth, and it doesn’t clump or flake throughout the day. It made my lashes look naturally curled, fuller, and longer. Plus, it kept them soft, not stiff! Highly recommend if you want effortless, bold lashes without extra tools.

It’s nice

It’s a nice mascara overall, but I find I have to do several layers to really get the coverage and volume I’m looking for. Not a huge deal, just takes a little extra time. Also, I’m personally not a fan of curved wands—I know some people love them, but they’re just not my thing. Still, the formula is decent and doesn’t flake, so that’s a plus.

Ready for take-off with this new lifting mascara. From the start, you can tell this mascara will be an excellent value for its price point. Next, I love the design of this bottle. The purple and teal shimmer is gorgeous and makes me excited to have it as part of my makeup collection. Next, the seal is tight so I'm not worried about leakage or the product drying out. There is a decent amount of mascara in the container so you get an even coat on the wand every time. The curved shape of the brush helps to add volume to my usually straight and thin lashes. The pigment applies well and evenly. I've added swatches of the product to this review. I also feel like it lasts me a good portion of the day with no smudging or signs of wear. Mascara

Sephora’s in-house mascara delivers solid performance at a reasonable price point. Like it, but....

This mascara gave my lashes tons of length and volume, but getting it onto my lashes was a bit of a process. I don't like that the applicator brush has a little too much bend to it; the product seems to come out a little lumpy and flaky, and because the applicator has so much give, it is hard to get the lumps cleaned off the applicator on the edge of the tube. Once it's on my lashes it's great, but it's kind of painful getting it there. I might repurchase, but likely to try another brand first.

Not my favorite

This mascara is just okay to me. I have long, stick straight eyelashes that point down. I always curl my eyelashes before applying mascara. This mascara claims to have instant curl and an extended lifted volume effect. I tried applying this without curling my lashes just to see how it would look. I didn’t do much. I tried it many times after curling my eyelashes. It looked okay. In my opinion, it didn’t give much to my lashes. It may work for someone that just wants a natural, daily mascara that doesn’t provide much drama. I do really like the curved brush. It separates my lashes very well. The formula just ends up weighing my eyelashes down and they don’t hold much of a curl. I normally do not have this issue. I think if your eyelashes have a natural curl to them, this could be great. I am so impressed with the Love The Lift Mascara by Sephora! From the very first use, it gave my lashes a gorgeous lift and curl that lasted all day — no lash curler needed. Love the lift curling and volumizing mascara

I have been a master cosmetologist for 33 years. I’m also an aesthetician a make up artist and a nail tech. This is the first time, but I have tried Sephora mascara, and I tried love the lift curling plus volumizing mascara by Sephora. I have very thin and short eyelashes so I was hoping this would be an amazing product for me, but it wasn’t. I love the color. It looked really good, but I had to put about four coats on to even see it on my eyelashes and after putting four coats on, then everything started clumping together. I am not a fan of that kind of look. On the plus side of this product is it doesn’t have much smell to it. Some mascara is do with this one does not and it is the first mascara that I have used in a while that does not make my eyes water because I have found I’m allergic to some mascara so that was a plus. But if you’re looking for a good price point mascara essay definitely give this one a try and I receive this product as a promotion.

Gifted for my honest review, I have been trying the love the lift curling and volumizing mascara from Sephora brand. So far, these are all the things that I love about this mascara. First of all, I really like the mascara wand and brush. The brush is made up of plastic bristles that really lengthen and separate my lashes. I find the brush a perfect size and it does not get messy when I apply multiple layers. The formula is not overly wet and I really like that type of formula. I also have really sensitive eyes, and this mascara does not irritate or burn my eyes, especially after a long day of wearing this mascara. I actually have pretty straight eyelashes that don’t hold a curl if I use regular mascara, however the formula, maybe because it is a dryer formula. It holds my curl and holds the volume! I think if you have straight eyelashes, you will also really love this mascara
