Elixir Ultime - L'Huile Legére Ölspray

Ive used this since 2015 and it is underrated

I don't often write reviews, which is ironic since my decision making on purchases HEAVILY relies on others reviews. That being said- I used this from 2015 until 2019 and my hair was long but I was going through a stressful time and started trying other things to see if I could also get it to be thick. My hair then started breaking off from end of 2019 until beginnign of 2021. After trying EVERYTHING again (even the whole vegamour line) with minimal results, I started purchasing this again, and I am not saying its the whole reason....but all I know is my hair is FINALLY getting long again. It makes me afraid of not using it lol because I don't want my hair to break off again! My hair is fine, and I have highlighted it since third grade. This doesn't weight it down and does protect it.

I think of this product as a compliment to dry shampoo. Dry shampoo is a great way to perk up my hair near the roots and this product perks up my dry ends without weighing my hair down. It’s a great way to go another day without washing my hair. I like the smell too.

Other items in this line are great. This one has too many fillers. Stick to the purer oils, especially for this price.

Not satisfied

It’s not as good as the ELIXIR ULTIME L'HUILE ORIGINAL because is a spray. I personally prefer the oil version

Best hair oil available

This product is the best hair oil available in my opinion, especially if you have fine hair. I've tried over 25 other hair finishing products and this one is by far the best. The packaging is a spray bottle, which keeps you from putting too much product in one place, and limits over applying. This allows for a uniform application, and thorough result. The oil makes your hair look shinier and healthier, it increases the "slip" factor, allowing your hair to move and swish beautifully. If you are somone who likes to cement their hair into place, it does not fight with your hair spray in any way. I loved Bumble and Bumble's finishing spray, but this one surpassed it and is my new staple. I throughly recommend it to anyone who has long hair, or dry hair. A little goes a long way, so the price is fine in the long run.

Drying alcohol/ not nourishing!

I really like Kérastase oils, but this is a total miss! A “nourishing” oil, or any product, can NOT contain denatured alcohol, especially as the second ingredient!!! This was terrible for my fine, color treated hair and can’t imagine it being good on ANY hair, especially long term. Hard pass on this one, but do enjoy the original elixir and the new blonde line.

A little goes a long way with this gem. The smell is amazing and the shine is highly noticeable.

Did nothing for me

I don't usually take the time to write reviews, however, I am so unimpressed with this product that I thought I may help someone else avoid the hassel of a return. I have very fine, long hair and I combat split ends and frizziness. I did not notice any benefits to using this spray- it did not add "nourishment", shine, smoothness or volume. I'm not one to expect miracles from a product but I just can't seem to find a single difference to my hair when using this vs. nothing at all. Maybe this will work for someone with a different hair type, but for me I am going to go back to Morroconoil.

Sephora keeps sending me broken and wrong products, but in case this is new packaging and not some fake dual oil, the name of which I googled and could not find in any stores, let alone Sephora, I tried it out and regretted it instantly. It smells like a distillery and made my hair so dry just after one spray that I am scared to brush it because it might as well break at the point of contact. I urge you to buy the normal oil from the brand instead. It is a miracle worker. The bottle looks suspiciously light as well as the spray and the golden rim.

This is the best hair oil I've ever used! It add shine and hydratation to my hair without being heavy. I also love the fact that it's a spray bottle. It's easy and quick too apply and you can avoid putting too much in your hair.
