it is the best shampoo i have ever used. whenever i went to get my haircut i was told how much buildup was on my scalp and that i needed a clarifying champoo. i tried so many dofferent ones and finally landded on the OAUI Detox Shampoo. now, eveytime i get my haircut i am told how clean my scalp is and i can literally feel how clean it is after i wash my hair 11/10

when I received it I read the ingredients bc it wasn’t on the listing and it had red 4, yellow 5, green 5 so I’m returning it now. I just feel like for a detox shampoo it shouldn’t have harmful dyes, definitely not good for hair

My Favorite!!

I received this for Christmas and I love it. Lathers very well. I have a very oily scalp and this shampoo is great for that, perfect to use after a few days without washing.  

I love this shampoo so much. It always leaves my hair so clean (multiple days) and fresh feeling without any build up. I’ve been using it for years and my hair stays consistent. Highly recommend.

Takes care of oily scalp buildup

I started using this shampoo after my scalp became increasingly itchy. I had tried everything from switching drugstore shampoos to salon shampoo, using less hair product, washing my hair more etc. Nothing worked and I could feel the build up on my scalp. So I bought this shampoo and it really helps. I use it twice a month or more as needed. It smells faintly of apples and is a thicker gel formula vs what regular shampoos feel like. My head doesn't get build up like it used to and my scalp isn't itchy. I also noticed I don't get as many random pimples along my hairline anymore. I still use my shampoo for colored hair but this clarifying shampoo is still a must for me. In Nov I bought my second bottle along with same brand leave in hair conditioner.

I love this shampoo. It works amazingly well,,, very much a once in a while shampoo however. I used it every time I shampooed for a couple weeks, it was absolutely amazing the first time but then the second time, it leftmy hair quite dry, it kept on getting worse until i etopped using it every shampoo. Now i use it once a month max or when i’ve put a lot of products in my hair throughout the week and it works wonders!!!

Be careful!!!

I was in love with this shampoo until I realized that my hair started to snap off! This shampoo totally ruined my hair. Don’t get me wrong - it does what it says; I have very oily scalp and it cleans it so well. Sometimes I wash my hair and it is greasy few hours after washing - but with this shampoo my scalp is so clean that I can go 2 days without dry shampoo. It’s actually insane. I never thought this was possible, so you can imagine how happy I was to find this. I used it for a few months and I started noticing a lot of frizz (and I use masks, protein treatments,k18 etc) but now I have so much breakage at the hairline that I can’t even believe it. I’ve been growing out my hair and the rest of my hair is so healthy and shiny but it has thinned out so much I might have to cut it. For context, I do have fine, colour treated hair. Someone with thick natural hair might be fine using this but be warned, this shampoo is too good at cleaning for certain types of hair

Good for people who actually have oily hair

I’m just gonna start this by saying if your hair isn’t responding well to this you likely don’t have oily hair. Having to wash every 2-3 days is normal. I have very oily hair naturally. I have to wash everyday, and if I don’t use the right products it’ll either dry down greasy or get greasy in 2-5 hours after washing. This helped my scalp so much. I still have to wash everyday but it lasts for over 16 hours now!

I don’t understand the hype around this. The smaell is seriously awful it smells of older intense floral perfume and leaves hair feeling stripped of any moisture. Skip this and go for k18.

I have used this product 3 times, and so far, I can already notice a difference in the way my hair feels! I have color treated (blonde) very frizzy hair, and this product paired with the ouai leave in conditioner is the perfect remedy for my hair
