Born in Roma Extradose Uomo - Parfum

Not my fave (from a lavender hater)

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Note: This is my first time smelling something from the Uomo Born in Roma line In the opening, I’m greeted by a really pretty, juice blend of citruses that I really wish persisted through the dry-down, which would have definitely made it more enjoyable for me. I do vaguely catch the spices in the background, but not enough for me to identify anything specific. In the middle, we find the lavandin— and sadly, I am not a fan of lavender whatsoever. This time is no different. But it’s anchored by a saltiness that pulls back my distaste, and lends itself to a quality that is almost edible and savoury. Finally, the woods come out, and I am (happily) a little distracted from the lavender…but then the fragrance takes on a distinctly rubbery, synthetic, waxy character. And I’m back to not loving it. :( That rubber persists for quite a while, long past first-spray. Ultimately, not my favorite, and not particularly memorable. The opening is lovely and bright, but it dries down and closes to a profile that is not my favorite. On the other hand, it lasts well over 5+ hours, and the bottle is cute (if not reminiscent of those textured black and white belts one could buy at Hot Topic in 2009)!

Amazing Unisex Scent

I used it and let me say ive never received as many compliments as i did with this on. I am a female and to be honest it smells unisex. The longevity is amazing I still smelled it the next day. Let’s not forget the gorgeous bottle design I expect nothing less from Valentino.

A smooth scene for the summer

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Valentino Uomo Born in Roma Extradose is a bold and smooth fragrance that really stands out. From the first spray, you get this rich blend of sweet vanilla and lavender, which gives it a warm, almost creamy feel. As it dries down, the amber and woody notes kick in, adding depth and making it feel modern and masculine without being overpowering. One thing I really love is the bottle and packaging which are super cool and stylish, it definitely gives off a luxury vibe. It looks just as good on the shelf as it smells on the skin. I’m looking forward to making this my go-to scent for the summer. It’s fresh enough to wear during the day but still has enough character for a night out. Great scent

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Has a spicy long lasting leather note balanced nicely with a vanilla finish. Very versatile as a serious scent during the winter. Super long lasting with nice projection so you don't need to use much. Fun glass bottle with a pattern that helps to hide fingerprints.

Pleasant sweet & spiciness, but nothing amazing

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is a pleasant smelling fragrance, but it is not groundbreaking in any way. I’d say it smells 85% the same as the Uomo Born in Roma Intense flanker. I know this concentration is a Parfum but I did not get more longevity or sillage from this one. It’s a little sweeter than the intense, and maintains the same DNA as the rest of the line, but it’s not their best offering. I’d wear this one on a cooler day in the evening, and that’s about it so it’s not the most versatile. It’s a bit redundant if you own the OG, Intense, or even Coral Fantasy. But it’s very different from Yellow Dream or Green Stravanganza. It has an almost bubblegum sweetness that tries to mesh with the spicy woodiness but comes up just a bit short. Not bad though if this one is your only one from this line.

Cat Magnet

Great smell. Went out and public and immediately noticed women all over me. Makes me feel like Squidward. Packaging was great, in good condition. Bottle looks clean and stuff.

New favorite scent

Love how nice this looks and the packaging is so sleek. I also love the smell. It smells amazing and it actually lasts all day. I highly recommend and will certainly be buying in the future. Thanks Influenster!
