Bamboo Waterlock Mask

I didn't think I liked it at first but....

I have been going rogue with this stuff! Sure, yes, it's sticky. I don't care or mind because I know I'm getting a good moisturizing treatment and since its not drying into skin fast or evaporating it's long lasting. So I use as an overnight treatment and leave on all night long. It's winter and this year has been brutal with high winds, windchill factors and so much snow. I work in a building that the air is so drying to my skin all over and dries my eyes out (that bad!) so this winter I have been using my normal skincare (serums or vitamin c treatment, moisturizer that is lightweight with spf or without and use spf on top of moisturizer if I need more moisture before spf. THEN I DAB a bit here and there depending on where my skin feels driest or will look very dry later through the day. Let that sink in while I brush and take care of the dogs. Then put foundation over it. The sticky part works so well in that sense because it's acting as my primer and better than any of those "moisturizing" primers which do nothing for my skin. This gives me my comfortable skin back. I have used on the knuckles and back of my hand at night because wearing medical gloves, stripping them off and putting back on and washing my hands a million times a day PLUS the outdoor weather ruining my skin so I so of treat the horrid back of hand skin that is so dry they look terrible. I have been doing this at night too the last few nights. Hasn't solved the problem yet but that comfort level that your skin feels (or that noticeable NOT comfortable skin feeling) that I was mentioning above is there and i can move and bend the knuckle skin and not have it register is so nice. For example, I just hurt now on the back of my hands so i put on my gold bond ultimate healing lotion WHICH IS A JOKE and feels like I'm just putting on silicones and no moisture and don't get the comfort with. So I'm going to slather this on and put some cotton liner gloves overnight to treat them. Basically, I like.

This is a great moisture mask. I like to put it on and walk around. When it starts to get sticky I spray rose water or some hydrosol to refresh it. When I take it off my skin feels really soft.

Good for sensitive skin

I have sensitive skin. I actually suffer from rosacea facial breakouts that come and go without warning. When I start to feel dry (before I get too dry and have to use coconut oil only) I will wash with Drunk Elephant Bestie & apply Hydra-B. Then when I incorporated this product i noticed it helped lock in the hydration. I always do research on products that claim to be good for sensitive skin on cosdna.com this product score is great other than the fragrance safety score of a 7 (the higher the # the worse). It has not broken me out or affected my skin negatively. I will look for a better scoring similar gel mask until then this is the best I’ve found. I have been using this just over a year. I only use the product when I feel my skin needs an extra boost.

don't feel anything particularly good or bad about this. I still prefer sheet mask.

It’s Amazing

This product is AMAZING. I never write reviews but this product deserves it. I have always been into Korean/Asian Skincare, especially for hydration/moisture. I loved this product so much that I introduced it to my sister and she loved it. - it leaves my skin hydrated and plump the next morning. -I have dry skin and suffer from eczema - I also wear a lot of makeup because I do Instagram makeup

Love this mask. My skin is dry so I use it daily before bed.It leaves my skin soft, smooth and bouncy!

It's a good product overall. However, I have to apply a really thick layer to show results-plump my face! I use this a lot before prepping when I dont have to rush to work.

This is an amazing mask! First of all, I didn't buy this through Sephora. This brand is actually owned by L'Occitane, and I got it at the L'Occitane outlet for $10!! For anyone who is trying to find a deal on this :). I swear by Laneige's water sleeping mask, but this might be even better. I've used this as a sleeping mask as well, with just a thin layer. My skin instantly feels hydrated and super soft. The smell is also amazing and very relaxing. In the morning, my face felt plump and still really hydrated. Finding it for $10 was a steal, but I will probably still purchase it for $42 next time when I run out. Highly recommend this product.

Okay product. It says you can use it as a mask and wipe it off, but honestly if you do it that way you're just wasting product. Just put a thin layer and use it as a sleeping mask instead. Does hydrate, but that's the only thing it does. It's sticky, so if that puts you off then I don't recommend this product. For the price, I would rather get the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask - it's half the price.

Very smooth and silky. Perfect for my troublesome skin.
