Wow. I received a deluxe sample of this mask with an order a while back and just used it for the first time today. My hair has never been softer! I’m an athlete with long, fine hair and usually have to wash my hair and blow dry it daily due to oil and sweat buildup at my roots from rigorous workouts. My hair tends to be quite dry at the ends because of this. This mask softened my hair from roots to ends and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy at all. I personally don’t mind the smell though it is a bit strong. I should also add that I did not use this mask with the full system- I used the Ouai fine shampoo before towel drying my hair and applying. I combed the mask through my hair from roots to ends for about 2 minutes before rinsing and immediately blow drying. I’m really impressed with this product and will start incorporating it into my hair routine!!

The smell will make you vomit

The smell is HORRENDOUS!!!!!!! It filled my bathroom and my lungs. I couldn’t rinse it out fast enough. I cannot believe a company would sign off on this. It is so strong and overpowering. It smells like a dude mixed a whole bottle of axe and old spice and then sat outside on a hot summer day. I don’t care what it does for my hair.

Worth it

So everyone’s right…it smells bad. BUT I don’t think it’s as terrible as the majority of the comments make it seem. It’s just a strong, grandma perfume-y smell. It does linger once the hair is dry, but it’s pretty mild. And everyone’s right about how soft it makes your hair too! The pros outweigh the cons by a mile.

Real results!

The results I have recieved from this product have been nothing short of a hair-miracle! My hair is very damaged and dried out from over processing and chemicals. After one use, my hair literally felt like it had been completely revived. After a second use, I noticed my hair felt stronger and I had significant less breakage, not to mention the ultra softness and luxe feel to it. This product is high quality and it shows in the results! There are so many hair masks out there that promise results, but they just don't deliver. Nice hair mask

I have been reliving my high school days when I had vivid rainbow hair. For the past three years my hair has taken a real beating from how much I have bleached my poor hair. I try to take breaks here and there l, but I love my vivid hair so much. I feel that I can have the best of both worlds if I have a good product to help repair and moisturize my hair. I researched many products and L’Oréal Professionnel Absolut Repair Molecular Mask has all the benefits I was looking for. The mask has some great ingredients that have helped bring my hair back to life like Peptides Bonder helps repair damage by rebuilding hair’s molecular structure. It also has Amino Acids, Amino Acids are proteins that strengthen and deeply nourish hair. My hair has never looked and felt so soft, smooth and healthy. I did experience a little negative with the mask, I developed acne on my hairline, which I didn’t have before.

I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest review. This hair mask has been a game changer for my waste long, colored hair. After years of using bleach to achieve the platinum blonde I love I started using a particular brand of box dye that worked wonders at giving me the same color I was looking for, however my hair would feel like straw for two weeks after coloring. This mask has brought the life back to my hair - it’s moisturized, silky, shiny, and soft now. I’m so blown away by the results after consistent use for two weeks, I can’t wait to see what continued use will do for my split ends. Set at a very reasonable price point compared to other bond building masks as well! I’ve use olaplex and Redken’s versions and this works just as well, if not better. Highly recommend!

Must Have Hair Repairing Mask

Initially, learning about the really interesting science that goes into making a product such as this, a mask that repairs at a molecular level; I was intrigued! A lot of products out there claim to do so much , but when it comes down to the end result… lacks. This however, truly delivered results instantly after one use! I’ve been noticing my hair has been dry, lackluster, and needed some TLC. This did the trick in the matter of 3-5 minutes. It smells good, although some may be sensitive if they don’t like strong scents. After using this, my dead ends were less visible , my hair felt softer and like I had been in the salon chair. I would love to see this used following a blow out as it protects the hair from future damage as well. The L’Oreal professionals line is so luxurious and great care for at home. 10/10.

amazing mask, amazing scent

I am seriously loving everything about this L'Oréal Absolute Repair Molecular Hair Mask. It's so thick and rich that a small amount really coats my hair and it works through so easily. It works in minutes, I wash and apply it in the shower and by the time I'm done with everything else I'm ready to rinse. It softens, adds shine, smooths the texture, eliminates frizz, detangles, and smells absolutely amazing! It's a kind of warm woody, slightly spicy scent that does linger but isn't loud enough to clash with perfume, and it's definitely a unisex fragrance.

Didn't notice any special difference on my hair

I have wavy frizz-prone hair with good shine. With its claim for stronger hair and improved elasticity, I was excited to use this product. To properly test the product I decided not to do my full routine and see what just my shampoo and this mask would do to my hair. On the day of wash my hair was bit oily at the roots and generally dry at the ends. After a nice head wash I applied the Absolut Repair Molecular Mask left it for over 5 mins (used timer on my phone) and then thoroughly washed my head. The mask texture was nice and creamy with not too thick consistency. I generously applied the mask for even distribution on my lengths and also to help with detangaling in the shower. It has a very strong unpleasant smell which reminded me of men's cheap sports deo and this fragrance lingered in my hair for days. Even though I didn't like the smell I tried this Mask again for my second wash because I generally am a Loreal fan, so I thought maybe after results would be good enough for me to bear with the fragrance. Sadly I don't see myself using this again. I didn't notice any significant improvement on my frizzyness. Though they felt slightly softer there was no noticeable improvement in terms of elasticity and manageability. Hair fall in the shower was similar to what I generally have and upon drying they were still slightly tangled and needed effort to manage the frizz and tangles. While I like the large quantity of the product but the fragrance and no noticeable results would prevent me from buying this mask again. I might recommend this mask for people with naturally straight and manageable hair and who actually prefer this type of fragrance. But definitely not for frizz-prone wavy or curly hair.

This hair mask makes my hair so silky smooth immediately after use! I LOVE the way it smells it has a very androgynous scent that smells like an expensive cologne. The scent of the mask lingers all day and still smells good the following morning! You will smell so good when using this mask, I honestly wish it came in a body oil, body butter, and a body spray because I would use them all! While your hair is immediately soft and smooth, I will say after using it regularly I haven’t noticed an improvement in my damage BUUUUT I will say that the damage hasn’t gotten worse either. Though I believe my hair damage is from an internal cause and not an environmental factor so I honestly don’t think it could get rid of my damage The packaging is very easy to use as the lid is large so I would say the accessibility is great!
